50/50 Credits

Through GrayJay Fundraising, 50/50 credits are automatically allocated to players' accounts, allowing them to access these credits throughout the year for program purchases such as development sessions, rather than waiting until the end of the season. You can view these credits in your GrayJay Pay account.

• A player selling 50/50 tickets will receive 36.5% of the sales as a 50/50 credit.
• If a player is not returning to the Dartmouth Whalers Minor Hockey Association, any registration discount from participation in the Whalers 50/50 will be allocated to the Mary Beth Chaulk Fund.
• Should a player transfer to another minor hockey team in a different association, the discount may be transferred, provided prior approval is obtained from the Alcohol and Gaming Division.

Rules Regarding the Transfer of 50/50 Credits

50/50 credits can be utilized in the following ways:

• Within Minor Hockey Associations: Credits can be used to discount the receiving player's registration for the following year or applied toward DWMHA program purchases (such as development sessions) throughout the year.
• Transfer to a Sibling: Funds can be directed to a sibling within the Whalers organization, specifically for their registration.
• Mary Beth Chaulk Fund (MBCF): Funds can be allocated to the MBCF, which assists Whalers players qualifying for financial support.

50/50 Credits Cannot Be Used In the Following Ways:

• Players leaving the Whalers cannot have their credits transferred, as they must be used solely for minor hockey registration.
• Credits cannot be transferred to "Major" teams or to former Whalers players who are now on "Major" teams.
