Please see the 2023-24 U9 teams listed below.  In each division, Gold and Navy will practice together.

Welcome to the 2023/24 U9 Season

As of today, 108 players are registered with Dartmouth Whalers

Whalers will field:

2 U9 Advancing Teams
2 U9 Intermediate Team
2 U9 Developing Teams

Ice times will be on Saturdays and Sundays at RBC Centre

Practice times until Dec.1st and all games will half-ice for the 2023-24 season until early February. Then it is a limited number of full-ice games

Balancing Sessions will begin this coming weekend, Oct 14 & 15, and will continue on Oct 21 &22.

There will be three skill sessions at each level and half-ice games on Oct 22.

Our number one goal is to ensure that players have fun and the key indicator for measuring success at U9 is that the players want to come back.

U9 hockey works best and gives the players the best experience possible when players of similar skill play together.  That is what balancing is all about. 

These ice times are in no way a "tryout" We will be observing the players and grouping them where they are most likely to have a successful experience.
