Question #4

I have already registered my child and have recently received the conditioning camp schedule by email. At registration time, I did not sign my child up for camp, however, I am wondering if it is too late to do so?

Answer:

In advance of the conditioning camp beginning up to TBD you are able to still sign up your child even if you did not do so during the registration process. You will need to go back to the Hockey Canada Website, sign in and add to your invoice.

Payment would need to be received no later than TBD by the controller (via mail, e-transfer or by credit card payment) before your child would be able to step onto the ice for any conditioning session. Payment cannot be made at the rink at the time of the first ice session in any circumstance.

Question #5

How do I know if I fall under the Dartmouth Whalers Boundary

Answer:
Please see Dartmouth boundary map HERE or contact our registrar with your physical address and postal code.

Question #6
If I live in the Dartmouth boundary can I register with another association?

Answer:
No as per Hockey Nova Scotia Regulations 4.2 Minor and Female Hockey Players players MUST play int the branch where their parent(s)/ court appointed guardian(s) reside.  For further information regarding residency regulation please refer to HNS Regulation Manual that can be found on their website

Answer:
A transfer (or parent declaration form) must be completed by a parent or guardian along with a proof of residence must be provided (must be a government issued ID or document that shows both new Dartmouth address and parents name, CANNOT BE A UTILITY BILL)  Once completed, the form and proof of address must be sent to our registrar at registrar@whalers.org in order to start the process to have the profile transferred.  Once the transfer is approved from the other association, the profile will be under Dartmouth and you can proceed with registering for the upcoming season

Answer:

If you have 3 or more players all registered with Dartmouth Whalers, yes you do qualify for a discount of $75 off each player’s registration fee, but all three or more players must be registered with Dartmouth Whalers on one invoice to receive the discount.
