Important Payment Information

IMPORTANT PAYMENT INFORMATION:
With the large volume of communications you receive with the startup of any hockey season, we wanted to be sure you are aware of the following items:
    • 2022/2023 fees must be paid in full; otherwise, your player cannot register for the current season.
    • Players are not permitted on the ice for conditioning until conditioning fees are paid in full by September 5th, 2023. 
    • Players are not permitted on the ice for tryouts until tryout fees are paid in full by September 10th, 2023.
    • A minimum of 20% of registration fees must be paid by September 30th, 2023.  Players will be prohibited from ice times until that 20% is paid. 
    • All registration fees must be paid in full by November 30th, 2023. 
    • If you have applied for sponsorship through a non-profit organization, please forward confirmation of your application to registrar@whalers.org so that we can update our records and allow your player on ice after those payment cutoff dates. 
  • All etransfer payments are to be made to payments@whalers.org and you MUST include the name and age level of your player in the notes so that payments can be applied to the correct player accounts.  For example; “Jane Doe U11”.

Season Start-Up Volunteer Sign-Up

 

Hello Whalers!

 

We are now about a month away from the 2023-2024 season kicking off with conditioning sessions which will then be followed up immediately by Tryouts and Recreation balancing.  In order to make it all flow well, we require a lot of help from our members.  We are reaching out to you all looking for volunteers for the following:

 

Volunteers to supervise in the dressing rooms for the Hockey Canada 2 deep policy the hour before players goes on the ice and when players are getting changed after they get off the ice - Must have valid CRC with VSC on file with Hockey Canada for conditioning, tryouts and balancing

 

- Volunteers for to help out on the benches during tryout and balancing scrimmages Must have valid CRC and VSC on file with Hockey Canada as well as coaching certifications for tryouts and balancing

 

- Volunteers for player check in for conditioning, tryouts, and balancing

 

- Volunteers to hand out jerseys to players during balancing and tryouts

 

- Volunteers to help wash jerseys after each session and return to the rink next day for balancing and tryouts

 

If you can volunteer we would love for you to take a moment to sign up by completing the below form to let us know what you are able to help with. If you are looking to help out at multiple levels, please complete a form for each level as a list for each level will be given to the division coordinators and they will be in touch with you closer to the dates once groups are posted to confirm if and when you are able to help.
