Dartmouth Whalers New Jersery Reveal

October 21, 2022 - Dartmouth Whalers New Jersey Reveal

Good Morning members

The Whalers are very happy to announce and unveil the NEW Game Jerseys and Socks for the next five years!  We were very excited to sit down and look at a Jersey and sock option that we felt would be innovative, eye-catching, easy to care for and give the Dartmouth Whalers some new and infused branding.   Thank you to the people that helped in this process, in particular our development Director, Peter Dulhanty and to Pro Hockey Life for bringing our ideas and designs to life.

NEW jerseys and socks will be available for coaches/ managers to pick up at RBC Center on Sunday October 23 and Monday October 24 from 5pm to 8pm by our new Equipment manager, Jeff Pottie.  Pickup will be at the main level warmup room which is located between Rink A and B in the hallway to the outside entrance.

In addition to new Jerseys we are also repurposing our old jerseys by giving each team a set of Home and Away jerseys from the previous season so that coaches can easily do drills with colors and branding to further make all kids look uniform on the ice and have some pride in our organization.

I know this has been a fast and furious past month for everyone and I would like to thank you all for being understanding, compassionate, and dedicated.   I would like to quickly acknowledge that Hockey is going through a turbulent time at the moment, especially Nationally, myself and the DWMHA board is committed to volunteer and player safety.  I would like to remind everyone again of the two deep rule and that bullying and harassment have no place in society, let alone our rinks!

A president's report will be coming out in the next two weeks outlining many of our initiatives and accomplishments.

Congratulations to all players on their placements and now let's get ready for an amazing season.

Phil Power
